Summer Junior Tennis Camps are here!

Building on our philosophy that the development of children is the foundation to everything we do, we make every effort to optimize the Summer and Holiday Camp experience. To ensure a truly unique experience for children between the ages of 4-17-years-old, parents can feel assured that their child(ren) will have a memorable camp. The Summer Camp is held this year from June 12th to September 1st and run for 12 one-week sessions with half, daily and weekly options to select from. Holiday Camps are held throughout the year.

The camps offered by Elite Racquet Sports provide a unique learning program for all participants. For every camp, we maintain a small ratio of participants to coaches. This allows each participant to have the personalized attention they need during the camp, thus providing an enabling environment for the children to learn, apply and improve their tennis. The camps, cater for a range of levels, from those just starting out to the more seasoned tournament tennis player.

The camps are also structured to ensure the participants receive a fun, well balanced, wholistic experience. A combination of specific skilled tennis training along with creative outlets and games to build confidence, self-esteem and self-discovery, is an organic approach we apply. This provides the space for every to meet new friends, practice new skills learned daily, challenge one self and most importantly, have fun.

New Summer Program Highlights for 2017: (For Full Week Camps)

  • Gardening will be introduced on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We will be hosting a private garden to impact and improve nutritional attitudes, with environmental education and stewardship in our campers through garden-based learning. We want to offer additional learning opportunities for our campers through gardening, and engaging their natural curiosity and wonder. Each camper will take home their planted project from the week.
  • A Mindfulness and Meditation segment will take place on Tuesdays, which we hope to bring an added dimension to the camp experience.. We implement this practice to emphasize the importance of breathing, concentration, and focus in order to do well in tennis, sports, academics and everyday life. What is mindfulness? It is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we're doing and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what's going on around us. We believe in applying new and emerging trends in sports and fitness into our programs. The participants learn about the importance of breathing, stretching and mental focus that can be applied to their tennis game and other sports they participate in. Through the emphasis of control and visualization, this component has been proven to enhance the performance of many elite athletes.
  • Talent Day Thursday is an optional program where campers can share their talent and skills by performing in our Talent Show. They can perform solo or as part of a group. We offer this platform to encourage building confidence and skills useful for communication and competition. It's where the coaches get to take a break, serve as the audience, and witness the amazing talents showcased.
  • Tennis Olympics will be held on Fridays where teams are guided by their assigned coach to compete in various events for the chance to win Gold, Silver or Bronze. We host this competition to test their skills learned and trained from the entire week.
  • Because we are implementing the importance of social responsibility and community giving, we will be making items/cards and collecting items to be donated  to a local charity. A representative will come collect our donation and hand made items by our campers on Friday or during the week. If you have a charity and non-profit you would like considered, please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. • Campers of the week will continue to be awarded on Fridays. Each camper has the opportunity to demonstrate and earn the award throughout the week. The awardees will be featured on our social media pages the following week!
The safety of all children participating in our camps is a priority for Elite Racquet Sports. To facilitate this, we implement and reinforce some safety guidelines for all to follow. This not only ensures the safety of their environment and play areas but also the respect for fellow participants, coaches and property.
We strive for the best in our Summer and Holiday Camps, and the memories your child(ren) experience will be lasting and impressionable, enough to impact their lives. Our goal is to provide a fun and memorable camp experience by continuously working to improve our programs.
